Mosty Toasty

Fall is here, well has been here really and last week i came across a pattern for these wristwarmers in a blog.  They looked like a super quick project and i needed an idea for my bright green Malabrigo yarn i got over the summer.

Pattern: Toasty (pdf) by Leslie Friend

Dates: Oct. 23-25, 2008, i would have done sooner but i lost a day of knitting to a cold.

Made for: My cold hands and wrists:)

Yarn: Malabrigo Worsted in Apple Green

Needles: size 7 Dps

Notes: Quick Project, Easy Project, Cute Project-Loved it. I made a small change by adding garter stitch to the begin and end.  I don’t care so much for the rolling of just plain stockinette but i think maybe next time i make these i may give stockinette a try. I also might make them a bit wider. While these fit perfectly as is, I wear lots of stuff on my wrists and had to take some of it off to put them on.

Now that i have gotten side-tracked it’s time to go back to what is already on the needles-Mystery Socks. I am hoping to catch up on the heels tonight and tomorrow so that way i am only a week behind.  And i am making a beret that just seems to be taking forever. Must. Go. Knit.    🙂
