I’m still here-but i have been keeping busy. Sewing and looking at knitting patterns–yes i feel my knitting blahs going away
YAY!!! and cleaning and getting ready for easter and little man’s birthday and getting my license renewed and…and…and…I will remember to take some pictures and get them posted. i just have a lot on my mind lately and trying to do a lot at one time.
i’m making scones this weekend–yummy!! and hopefully some FO’s i have faceless friends laying on my sewing table.

Argosy Washcloth, originally uploaded by Craftydiddl.
Yarn: Sugar ‘ n Cream in Hot Green
Dates: March 17th-March 19, 2007-I started something green on St. Patrick’s day- i didn’t notice that until just now.
Was a guick pattern and something to tide me over until i picked a bigger project. I stuck to the pattern besides a teeny part that confused me.
Later, The cure for the knitting blahs.
I’ve got the knitting Blahs
I started Little man’s blanket and stopped because i decided i want bright colors for him. I played on my new laptop for a few days and then started the Argosy Dishcloth Saturday morning while i was babysitting and i had a couple minutes of free time. I am about halfway through…i decided last night my room need to be changed, cleaned, organized…something needed to be done i have too much stuff. I even looked at selling some old American Girl accessories i have and Little Man’s baby leappad. But on ebay it doesn’t look like there is any demand for the stuff at all. The leapad is like new and i have tons of books for it too-i was really hoping to make a few bucks off of it BUT maybe not.
Knitting is slow, slow slow…and i have a few sewing projects i think i want to finish, well i should finish because they have been sitting around since October.
Maybe i have just been knitting to much the past few months and worn myself out–Can that really happen? I didn’t think it could…i should want to knit all the time, nonstop. Instead i am avoiding it…choosing technology over some hands on knitting love.
I am tired.
I have just wanted to veg. Sounds lame i know.
i have 10 balls of Rowan 4 ply cotton any ideas on what i could do with it?
And 10 balls of Rowan Yorkshire Tweed-i need some ideas for that too. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Well i have been takin care of a sick Little Man. Coughing, sneezing, chapped nose and just miserable! He finally started getting better on Sunday BUT i started getting a sore throat. But i pulled out my Airborne and i am feeling better already, i think it helped that i took it while Little Man was sick.
I started a blanket for Little Man last week but i have only worked on it a few days, i was playing on the lappie on the other night and Monday i slept alot. But i will have a picture tomorrow. The basic idea is a 3 panel blanket. Gark green, grey and blue (still debating maybe switching grey for red) and each panal will be a different stitch pattern. I have half of the green one done and it is a checkerboard pattern i really like it.
Tomorrow my friend is coming over for kniterly stuff that should be fun
She wants to look at my knitting books for some pattern ideas, i brought her into knitting world and it is growing on her a little bit she just doesn’t have much time with a new baby and work.
Lots of stuff to do-more soon!!
I have’t given up yet, i have just been feeling under the weather lately. Very Sleepy.
I am working on a baby hat right now for my Hubby’s cousin. They had a baby about 2 weeks ago. You may think i am a little behind but i actually had an adorable purple flapper-like hat and purple wrap dress. BUT little trickster that the baby is (gets it from Dad) decided to be a boy instead
So i could demand that he wear all the purple knits i made, i mean when they are that little sometimes you can’t tell if it’s a boy or a girl or i could make him something quick to wear and so i decided on a hat. The pattern is from Purly Whites and I really like it. I should be done by tonight (i want to get it mailed out tomorrow, the latest Tuesday) so i will put up a picture.
I am having some picture posting issues in case you haven’t noticed. Last post was HUGE and post before that Small-i need a happy medium-and i am still working on that.
I got a new book last week too-it’s Knitting for Peace. It has some cute patterns in it and i was thinking of a Blanket for Little Man and using up some stash yarn to make some of the projects to send away.
I have some sewing i want to work on too, so lots going on.
I found out last night that my laptop is dying a slow death
He stops recognizing that he is plugged in and goes to battery power and then i have to turn him off, let him sit and then turn back on to get him to rerecognize that he is plugged in. He also flashes back and forth while i am using him. Turns out my laptop brand has that problem and one day it will completely stop recognizing the plug and once my battery dies then that’s it my laptop will be dead. You can technically fix it but it is kinda pricey so it might as well be used toward a new computer but thats EVEN MORE expensive. I plan on running him until he goes and then my sweet hubby will have to start sharing his laptop with me
I am trying to be VERY POSITVE and hoping my laptop still has a long life ahead of him. So send happy vibes our way!
On to work on the baby hat while Little Man is sleeping.
had a long post with pictures of a wonderful finished Clapotis and it’s all gone
i will try again tomorrow.
